Accessing Grace

Readers have commented that this article suggests to them that it was written about a current particular political situation and persons involved in it. That is not correct. This article pertains to humankind across time and continents.

There is at present and has been for far too long the demand that we, whoever we may be, at whatever stage we may be in our existences, must completely and utterly annihilate life as it currently exists. Good or bad. Different or indifferent. According to destructive voices it is only by entirely decimating what has existed in order to obtain some vaguely perceived goals of an obnoxiously rude person or group will life improve to suit their peccadillos and persuasions. Those outside influences declare that long held goals for the greater good must be overturned in favor of what pleases an annoyingly loud and increasingly unruly subgroup.

These goals may or may not be our own. They may not be something we thought of but feel we ought to adopt because of real and imagined pressures. Regardless of whoever wants something they suppose no longer endures, at this time in the early twenty-first century Anno Domini, folly brawls to dominate our lives and our world.

We ignore the fact that the strident and vulgar would-be dividers among peoples have a massive effect on our own persons. That group or subgroup may not be external. It is altogether too easy to ignore the fact that we may well be at war within ourselves. We all too easily fail to see that because of the disruptions within society in general we…
