Balls of Light

In September of this year I began to see large numbers of balls of light dropping from the sky. Many more came to earth than I can recall seeing at any prior time. Those balls of light continue to fall to our world.

A scientist might look for meteors, but I am a mere mystic. When the balls of light fall to earth they greet me with joyful Hellos. These balls of light are angels. They come to bring us joy and happiness. They come to enrich our spirits. This is what I have seen all of my life. Angels come to earth in the forms of balls of light. They give us their love and peace.

The time between Halloween and early February is sacred. That is the time when larger than normal numbers of souls leave this life to return Home to heaven. It is also the time when more angels come to our earth, come to all of creation, than at other times of the year.

I can’t tell you why any of this is the way it is. I can tell you that every time I have asked the Boss I have heard the same answer. Wait.

You may want to know how long you should wait. I’ve asked that question, too. The answer is the same.

Wait.

While we’re waiting we can decide to do something we think we’re not supposed to be able to do. We imagine we can’t see miracles in the making. We think miracles happen because that’s what we’re told as children. We learn about them after the fact. We’re also told that every day is a miracle. Each breath we draw is a miracle.

So, why not cooperate with God and the angels? Why not bathe ourselves in the light that drops to earth every day? Why not take the shove from above and be part of life’s miracles?

Every person has the ability to be a spiritual savant. It’s a matter of willingness. Are you willing to both see miracles and be a sage who makes miracles occur? Are you willing to live your life to its spiritual fullness? All it takes is a lot of humility and an extraordinary amount of gutsiness to reveal miracles.

The balls of light fall from the heavens to teach us how to unleash holiness. We get to release goodness and decency from our personal spiritual store.

There are countless men and women around us who possess and employ greater godliness than we could ever guess. They don’t appear to be anyone fancy or special. They’re ordinary people with ordinary lives. Regardless of who they are or what they do, they commit acts of mortal good.

Some of us may remember from our childhood learning about mortal sins. They were the very worst sorts of things humans could do. Theft, murder and such were mortal sins.

But when did any of us ever hear about committing acts of mortal good? Acts that lift up our world if even the most miniscule amount. We never need to be the richest person in the world giving away vast sums of money. A few people can do that, but most of us have something even more valuable.

We have ourselves.

Long before there were audio books, there were people who went to nursing homes and hospitals to read or visit. Sometimes it was just to say hello. People still do that sort of thing. They call or text. Since more elderly and ill can stay home and be healthier nowadays, friends and relatives and helpers can reach out.

Children present us with joys and questions we might never have imagined. We’re aware that they are giving from their souls. Are we aware that our presence in their lives is the gift we’re giving them?

It’s a daring thing to do, but I’ve been in line in a coffee shop or grocery store when the person in front or behind me gave me a friendly hello and began to chat. Nothing in depth. Nothing earth shattering. We may have discussed nothing more extraordinary than the weather. And isn’t that a miracle? When we open up our souls a crack to let out a sliver of light? To lighten up another person’s day?

Because we forget that they bring us miracles, too. They can brighten our day with a nod of the head or a smile.

I cannot begin to recall all the times I’ve been walking down the street in a large city and heard a person humming to themselves. They were willing to cooperate with God to bring a titch of hope and happiness into my life. Just the slightest bit.

And isn’t that enough?

It’s why some of us see angels, those tremendous gifts of light and the energy of creative love, coming into our world. They bring all of us reminders of the wonders of daily life.

And that, my friends, is quite the miracle.
