Riding Your Waves

Take a vacation from your everyday life. Close your eyes. Go to sleep.

Remember everything while you are asleep.

Close your eyes. Drift to sleep and onto your mystical surf board. All you have to do to soul surf is to close your eyes and drift away.

Where you want to go in your dreams? If you want worlds of princesses and dragons, go find them. If it’s time for your guardian angel to take you across galaxies and universes to explore parts of Creation where the Spirit needs your talents, that is where you will be.

Take all of the psychological studies of human dreams. All of the studies that measure and quantify. Put them all in a box.

Now get out your spiritual flamethrower and pull the trigger. They are all hokum.

Utter nonsense.

Your sleep time is simply another phase of you spiritually awake. Do you ever feel tired when you wake up in the morning? It is because your soul has been travelling. Your soul has been working while your body lay in bed.

You have been accompanying your guardian angel and other angels and souls sent by the Spirit to do the work you were born to do.

Ever hear about people riding energy waves to get to where they spent their sleep hours? That is soul surfing.

Maybe those energy waves exist for other people.

Not me.

One moment I am falling asleep. The next moment I am where I spend that time working. Unexpectedly and without warning I might suddenly find myself brought back, wide awake in the middle of the night. It may be for a minute. Sometimes for an hour. Then I am gone one more time.

I either return to working wherever I was or find myself working in another place. Another galaxy. Another universe. A place that no longer exists or a place that does not yet exist.

When I finish, I come back to this earth. To the place I left hours earlier.

It never feels as though there is anything or anyone to reach out to before my travels begin. There is merely closing my eyes to fall through time and space with angels.

If you think that you have never met the Spirit, that angels and souls are an unknowable quantity, that is fine. If you think I am crazy because I see them all day and night, that is fine. In my world it means that you have spiritual amnesia.

Spiritual amnesia is forgetting Spirit. You might have all sorts of advanced degrees in religions and philosophies and goodness knows what. Having pieces of paper is not the same as knowing and being fully aware of the ethereal creatures who surround each of us, who are literally out of this world while being in our world with us.

They take our hands to help us rise from beside Babylon’s waters to go up the mountain of joy.

To close your eyes to this world and be transported into the world of the Spirit.

When I talk about the spiritual work I do when my body is asleep, it is Spirit’s work. I know what it I do. I remember.

Your business is to do your work with the Spirit and the angels who are sent to work with you. We not only have our guardian angels. We have angels to teach us, protect us, help us in ways large and small wherever we are.

Try something radical.

Go to bed with a journal beside you. When you wake up, write down even the vaguest sketches or feelings of what transpired in your sleep. Or sketch them. Draw them. Dictate them into a recorder to write out later. Discuss them with others who live their dreams.

Delete nothing. Correct nothing.

Everything you remember from riding your waves is perfect as it is.
