Spiritual Flow

My last article entitled Accessing Grace was on the topic of making connections with our own souls and making steady progress in our spiritual lives. It discussed how “we dig deep and put into action our union and communion with the divine.”

It was not about any current specific political or societal situation in any country or on any continent at this time in the history of this world. It very easily could fit any one of many countries in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe or the Middle East in times past, the present or times yet to come. I am not conversant in the particular state of affairs of all those countries to make a call as to their existing state of affairs.

All I know is what I see in people and the world we inhabit. Each and every day has something different from our lives in prior days. Some days may be roughly like others. That leads to spiritual patterns of behavior. For example, I avoid some places while gravitating toward others for a very simple reason. It’s not unusual to go through places and see unhappy, sometimes raging souls long dead. I tend to avoid those places. I learned a long time ago that the raging dead are even worse to deal with than the raging living. It’s far more pleasant to pass through buildings or walk along streets and meet the peaceful spirits of men and women who lived in that place centuries ago.

That is ordinary life. Some souls dealt with the issues of their days when they were physically alive. They made their peace. When I run into peaceful souls they may be passing through…
